Call for junior and senior researcher positions - Priority Research Programme on Antibiotic Resistance

Following the research call "Antibiotic resistance: understand, innovate, act" and the three calls for structuring tools and platforms, the French Priority Research Programme (PPR) on Antimicrobial resistance (AMR), coordinated by Inserm and funded by the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA), in collaboration with the French National Research Agency (Agence national de la recherche, ANR), launches a call for applications for junior and senior researcher positions. The call aims to develop research of excellence in the field of AMR to enrich the research environment and infrastructures being built in France. A total budget of €4M and €3.5M will be granted for the senior and junior chairs, respectively.

The selection of candidates will follow a two-step process:

The first call for applications, coordinated by the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale, Inserm), will select candidates based on their scientific excellence. Only selected candidates will be eligible to apply to the second step.
The second call for projects, coordinated by the ANR, will require submission of project proposals in collaboration with a host laboratory based in France.

Final selection of the laureates by the ANR will be announced during the second semester of 2022, allowing contracts to start as early as the first trimester of 2023.

Appel à candidatures chaires juniors et seniors du Programme prioritaire de recherche Antibiorésistance

Après l'appel à projets recherche " Antibiorésistance : comprendre, innover, agir " et les trois appels structurants, le Programme Prioritaire de Recherche (PPR) Antibiorésistance, coordonné par l'Inserm et financé par le Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA), en collaboration avec l'Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), lance un appel à candidatures pour des chaires juniors et seniors. Cet appel vise à développer une recherche d'excellence dans le domaine de l’antibiorésistance afin d’enrichir l'environnement et les infrastructures de recherche en cours de construction en France. Un budget total de € 4M et € 3,5M seront accordés pour les chaires senior et junior, respectivement.

La sélection des candidats aura lieu en deux étapes :

Dans un premier temps, un appel à candidatures, coordonné par l’Inserm, sélectionnera les candidats sur la base de l’excellence de leur parcours scientifique. Uniquement les candidats sélectionnés pourront postuler à la deuxième étape.
Dans un deuxième temps, un appel à projets, coordonné par l’ANR, prévoira la soumission de projets en collaboration avec un laboratoire établi en France.

La sélection définitive des lauréats par l'ANR sera annoncée pendant le deuxième semestre 2022, permettant de démarrer les contrats à partir du premier trimestre 2023.
